About Genext

Introducing Genext Limited, a dynamic member of the  infrastructure market targeting small to medium projects both priced and negotiated through existing contacts. It is based in Hamilton and operates all over North Island, New Zealand.

Leading our operations with utmost dedication is Craig Wallace, our esteemed Operations Director with over 20 years of extensive expertise in the region, Craig possesses a profound understanding of the local landscape, maintaining robust relationships with the community and key players in the construction industry. With Craig Wallace leading our operations, we are confident that our team possesses the expertise, experience, and community-centric approach necessary to deliver outstanding results in any project.

Genext is striving towards a carbon neutral and paperless construction process by 2030, elevating to a sustainable and next generation contractor. Genext is a cut above the rest and is looking to be innovative in the relevant market. Training and motivating a younger generation to do work in the correct methods and with newest technologies.

Genext is a member of the Civil Contractors New Zealand (CCNZ). CCNZ is the national association for civil contractors of New Zealand and founded in 1944.

SiteWise is a prequalification system that grades a contractor’s health & safety capability and publishes that grade in a database that can be viewed by main contractor and principal organisations.

Quality & Systems

ISO

ISO 45001:2018

ISO 45001:2018 specifies the requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, along with the relevant guidelines to use it. Genext has incorporated this standard to provide safe and healthy workplaces by preventing/minimising work-related injuries and accidents while proactively improving its OH&S performance.

ISO 9000:2016

NZS/ISO 9000:2016 elaborates the fundamental principles of quality management which are identical to and reproduced from ISO 9000:2015. Genext has mainly adhered to this standard to assure the ability to consistently provide products and services conforming to the requirements of their clients.

ISO 14001:2015

ISO 14001:2015 describes the requirements for an environmental management system that is used to enhance its environmental performance. Through this standard, Genext is intending to manage its environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability.
